conversation conducted in person in Berlin will explore how trauma is inherited, processed, and understood across generations, offering unique perspectives and profoundly enriching insights.

Dr. Abeer Khshiboon – Research Fellow at EUME (Europe in the Middle East – The Middle East in Europe), specializing in intersections of religiosities, for example the historical trauma of Christian internally displaced Palestinians. Rabbi Dr. Tirzah Firestone – Author, psychotherapist, and thought leader in the field of intergenerational trauma and resilience, for example the intergenerational Jewish trauma. Firestone studied and counseled hundreds of Jewish families and individuals for over 30 years.
